Privacy Policy

isitlanding is operated by GarageExit. This page explains what data we collect when you use isitlanding, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

We wrote this in plain language. If anything here is unclear, email support@garageexit.com.

1. What we collect

1.1 URLs and audit results

When you paste a URL to audit, we fetch that public page and store:

  • The URL you submitted
  • A screenshot of the page (captured server-side, stored in our Cloudflare R2 bucket)
  • The extracted page copy (headlines, body text, CTA labels) that our AI models use for analysis
  • The generated audit results (scores, issues, recommendations)
  • An anonymous session ID (stored in your browser's localStorage)
  • Timestamps for when the audit was created and completed

We do not collect your name, email, or any account information — isitlanding has no signup.

1.2 Server logs

Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare collects standard request logs including your IP address, user agent, referrer, and request path. These are used for security, debugging, and rate-limiting. Cloudflare's own retention policies apply — see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

1.3 Analytics

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not use fingerprinting or track individual users across sites. Only aggregate page-view and performance data is collected. If we add other analytics tools in the future, we will update this page and the cookie notice.

1.4 Third-party AI providers

To generate audits, the extracted copy from the URL you submitted is sent to third-party AI providers via OpenRouter, including models hosted by OpenAI (GPT-6 Luna and GPT-6 Luna Pro), DeepSeek, and Z.AI (GLM). These providers process the content to generate the analysis. They do not receive your IP address directly from us. Each provider has its own privacy and data-retention policy.

2. Legal basis (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, the legal bases we rely on for processing your data are:

  • Legitimate interest — running and improving the service, preventing abuse, aggregate analytics
  • Contract necessity — processing the URL you submitted is required to deliver the audit you requested
  • Consent — any optional cookies that require it (currently we set no such cookies)

3. How long we keep it

  • Audit results and screenshots: retained indefinitely so shareable audit links continue to work. You can request deletion at any time (see section 5).
  • Server logs: retained by Cloudflare per their policy (typically 30 days or less).
  • Session ID: stored in your browser until you clear your browser data.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share the audited page's extracted copy with the AI providers listed in section 1.4 solely to generate the audit. We use Cloudflare (infrastructure) and OpenRouter (AI routing) as sub-processors.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct or update it
  • Delete it (right to erasure)
  • Object to processing or restrict it
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email support@garageexit.com with the URL you audited or the audit ID. We aim to respond within 30 days.

6. International transfers

Our infrastructure is globally distributed via Cloudflare's edge network. AI providers may process data in the United States or other jurisdictions. Where transfers occur, we rely on the safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions) established by our sub-processors.

7. Children

isitlanding is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage or via a notice in the app.
